Over this past weekend some like-minded artists and activists did some DIY fixes on neglected and damaged tree planters around Toronto. The project was organized and inspired by Sean Martindale, friend to the Guerilla Gardeners and one of the people behind those
Poster Pocket Plants that cropped up around the city in 2009.
Here are a few of the tree planter interventions:
